Saturday 17 July 9am – 5pm Touch My Brum – the World’s Biggest Mixed Touch Rugby Tournament, Sutton Coldfield.
Groups format in morning then knockout stages after lunch – 6 minutes per half with 1 minute half-time break in each game. 6 players per team on pitch at any time, with up to 8 in reserve (and reserves can come on and off as often as you want so everyone gets to play as lots of running!). NO TACKLING – just touch an opposition player to make a “tackle” (just don’t touch their tackle, that’s a different thing entirely).
There will be NO event after this year due to Covid, just the fun of the game! Social distancing in place around the games, but not on the field during the game!
Cost if we can get 10 of us or more is £22 per person (lunch & goody bag included). £25 per person if less than 10 (& £10 for spectators!). Who’s in? If we get enough I will register a Swifts team. Contact a member of Swifts for more info!
