Can you help to keep the Birmingham Swifts running?
The position of Social and Welfare Secretary is currently vacant and we are opening up nominations. The role description can be found in the constitution in the ‘club documents’ section of the website via this link https://birminghamswifts.wordpress.com/club-documents/.
The role is in two parts, as welfare secretary you will safeguard the members and be the point of contact for members’ welfare issues, pointing them to where they can get further support. As social secretary you will organise the post race socials as well as a few additional socials similar to the upcoming bear hunt. The committee meets once a month and will support you as you get to grips with the role.

All nominations need to be seconded by another member of the Birmingham Swifts. Neither of you are required to be affiliated.
Nominations will close 23:59 on Thursday 24 August. Notice of elections will follow thereafter.
