Thank you for your patience following the end of the election on Wednesday and the resulting draw between Marianne and Alan.
Since the outcome of the election I’m sad to announce that Christine, our Club Secretary, has decided that she wants to stand down. I’m sure you’ll join me in thanking Christine for all her hard work and commitment to the club. Christine will continue her involvement with the Swifts as one of our Run Leaders!
However I’m delighted to announce that both Marianne and Alan will be joining the Swifts committee!
Alan will be our new Social and Welfare Secretary and Marianne will be our new Club Secretary. Please be patient and give Marianne and Alan some time to get their feet under the table!
I’m sure you’ll also join me in welcoming both Marianne and Alan to the committee!
