As members will be aware the government has now issued updated advice for coronavirus. At this stage this is focussed on those with symptoms staying at home. For latest advice please visit https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/
At the moment, people with symptoms suggestive of coronavirus (COVID-19) — a fever or a new cough — should stay at home for seven days from the point when symptoms occur according to government advice.
Those who have been in contact with someone who is experiencing symptoms should only stay at home if they begin to experience symptoms.
Common symptoms of coronavirus include:• fever or a temperature of above 37.80C• persistent cough
Our run leaders have not at this stage been asked to cancel the Thursday Social runs and we plan to go ahead this week. This of course may change and we will fully follow updated advice as soon as it is issued. As the LGBT Centre is closed Andy will be opening The Fox at 6:30 for bag drop and changing. Please check Facebook and our website for details if the start of the run changes from the Pagoda to the Fox, or not!
As always members who feel unwell for any reason shouldn’t run.
The Committee continues to monitor the situation and will keep members fully updated.
