Swifts Cannon Hill parkrun Takeover 2021

It’s time for our annual Swifts parkrun takeover at Cannon Hill parkrun – on Saturday 2nd October 2021, 08:30-10:00.

This is an opportunity for the club to take on the marshalling duties for this specific race, and to raise the profile of the Swifts & LGBTQ+ inclusive sport amongst our Birmingham community.

We need to cover a number of marshalling roles, so we need lots of club support for this event. If you’ve not marshalled at parkrun before, don’t worry – guidance will be given.

Parkrun kicks off at 09:00, but as we’re marshalling we should be planning on arriving by 08:15-08:30 at the very latest. The race should be all finished by 10:00am, and afterwards we’ll all get together for breakfast at the MAC.
